‘Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. That is the prophecy many Christians around the world believe is happening today and now the National Geographic is weighing in on it.
“An incendiary new report called Living Planet Index prepared by World Wildlife Fund and the Zoological Society of London predict dire circumstances for the world’s wild animals, warning that two-thirds of vertebrate populations could be wiped out by 2020, based on 1970 population levels.
“The index further details that animal populations dropped by 58 percent between 1970 and 2012, largely as a result of human activities…”
