Indeed we are living in prophetic times. The appointed time of the end, as the Bible calls it. (Daniel 8:19) This is the time that God said would eventually come and it would be very bad critical times for those living in that time. (2 Tim.3:1). It is a time when Satan will be especially active and influencing wicked ungodly men on earth into doing very evil deeds and leading them to their deserving end along with himself and his demon followers. Satan, whose name means resister, has been fighting against God from the very beginning of creation on earth and his (relatively) short defiant rule over the earth is soon to end now, the conditions on earth at this very time are the sign of that conclusion of his rule and influence over the earth. (John 8:44) Satan realizes that he is almost finished, God is soon to put an end to his wicked rule and his defiance of the true God. (Revelation 12:12) But although we realize by the signs (Matthew 24:3) that we are in that time of the end we must continue to keep our integrity to God and wait on him to remove Satan and his influence on this earth for all time. It is not easy, times are very difficult but we must have faith in God to see us through the coming tribulation. He is the only answer to what is happening on earth right now. (Matthew 24:13, 1 Peter 1:6, 7) So as the Bible says, when we see these signs we should lift our heads up because it means our deliverance is getting near. Never will God leave us without hope, and the hope he gives is faithful and true. (Luke 21:28, Romans 5:3-5) When Satan is removed for all time from influence over the earth then the real life begins for mankind. (1 Timothy 6:17-19 Revelation 21:1-5)
