Twenty-six people were killed and twenty injured during the shooting at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. The attacker, Devin Patrick Kelley, was a former US Air Force member who was court-martialed in 2012 and sentenced to a year in military prison for assaulting his spouse and child, then released with a bad-conduct discharge in 2014.
