What are algorithms? We hear about them daily, and how Google is using them, but what exactly are they. Well, in order to write a computer program, you have to tell the computer, step by step, exactly what you want it to do. The computer then “executes” the program, following each step mechanically, to accomplish the end goal. That’s where computer algorithms come in. The algorithm is the basic technique used to get the job done.
Unfortunately, algorithms are being used by Tech Giants to target political opposition and remove any content they deem inappropriate from the internet. It is what they are using to censor Conservatives, patriots, and to limit our First Amendment right.
Truth is if we continue allowing these agencies to have such domination, then these “algorithms” currently being used to “eliminate voices from the internet” will be used in our daily lives. By our police departments, by the government, and by our schools.
In the end, we the people will be the ones who will be subjected to a “tyrannical algorithmic rule”. All that and more below…
