Scholars, Christians, and prophecy speakers are all claiming that something awful is going to happen on September 23rd, 2017. Some claim it’s the end of the world, others claim it’s the start of the 7 year Tribulation spoken of in Biblical prophecy, while others believe it’s the Rapture of the church—a time when Christians will be caught up into heaven. But where exactly do these scholars get this information and why is September 23rd significant?
For starters in the Bible and in the book of Revelation there is a scripture that foretells of a future event of a “sign in heaven” where a woman will be clothed in the sun, the moon under her feet, she will birth a child, and have twelve stars on her head:
“A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with they sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.” Revelation 12: 1-5
The reason it’s important to know that is because, on September 23rd, the constellation Virgo will have the sun at her head, the moon at her feet, she will birth Jupiter, and have the twelve stars on her head. At least…. that is what many are claiming. However, the question must be asked, is there any validity to this theory and how often do such astronomical events happen? All that and more below…

OH DEAR… THERE’S MUCH, MUCH MORE TO CLARIFY! * The Rapture is always imminent. It could happen tonight. So one can’t actually predict Sept 21, 22, 23, etc. * The only prophecy left to be fulfilled before the pre-Trib Rapture is the Fall of Damascus prophesied in Isaiah. Of course, this may happen just before or just after the Rapture, as discussed at The First International Christian Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland, hosting the world’s leading Christian eschatologists. * No Christians I know of said anything about the “end of the world.” This would be grossly inaccurate. The Rapture signifies the End of the Gentile Age…. And then the 144,000 Jewish evangelists – 12,000 from each tribe in Revelation – begins to fulfill the final week in Daniel as prophesied by Daniel. * Nor is anyone in the Christian world believing everyone is “going to die.” Hardly. This is the time when the 7-Year Tribulation kicks in and God begins pure justice, pure wrath, on a Christi-rejecting world – Jacob’s Trouble for 7 years also begins at this time. * Finally, a good look at I Thessalonians 5 (first paragraph) is extremely revealing! Every year, the UN Peace Conference has a different slogan and this year’s is “Peace and Safety.” Just as in I Thess. 5. This on the eve of the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah). We then have to consider how all the main prophetic events have occurred on preceding Spring and Summer Feasts… We live at a time when the Rev. 12 “Sign in the Heavens” occurs during the Feast of Trumpets. This is a very, very important point and was not addressed. Then in I Thess 5 we see “sudden destruction” and this does occur right after people are Raptured with the destruction of pilotless plains, trains, cars, and all sensitive systems Christians oversee to that point. So let us recap: “End of the world” and “We’re all going to die” has nothing to do with the Bible. The Rapture is the Blessed Hope! (Of course, not the day “we’re all going to die.”) Too, there may be billions of stars behind Leo… just as there may be behind Virgo. So this is irrelevant. Most importantly, “No one knows the day or the hour” has always pertained to the Feast of Trumpets. Finally, it is important to remember that the Rev. 12 alignment in the Heavens BEGINS Sept. 23 and continues throughout October. In that sense, an isolated Sept. 23 is not necessarily the prime date – though it ties in very well with the Feast of Trumpets.

Lisa, You are right on target with your video on the astrology view of constellation Virgo. I do know that some have always tried to legitimize astrology by connecting it to the Bible. Revelation 12 is a vision that the Apostle John had depicting God’s plan of defeating Satan through Jesus.
NOTHING STRANGE WOULD HAPPEN ON 23 RD OF THIS MONTH
EARTHQUAKES ,HURRICANES , SINKHOLES WILL HAPPEN AS ITS ALL HAPPENING
DECADES ARE LEFT IN THE END OF WORLD NO BODY KNOWS HOW MANY DECADES BUT NOT MONTHS FOR SURE ONLY LORD ALMIGHTY KNOWS THE BEST
REGARDING RAPTURE WE ALSO BELIEVE THAT WHEN JESUS COMES ALL THE CHRISTIANS WILL BE REVERTED AND PURIFY THEIR BELIEF THAT IS GOD IS ONE AND HAS NO SON AFTER FEW YEARS SOULS OF ALL BELIEVERS WILL BE RETURNED TO LORD ALMIGHTY THROUGH A PLEASANT WIND AND THAT IS THE TRUE EXPLANATION OF RAPTURE
BUT FIRST YOU HAVE TO PURIFY YOUR BELIEF AND SAY LORD ALMIGHTY IS ONE AND HAS NO SON
The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his. (Genesis 49:10) (Source: New International Version 1984 (Protestant Bible):
The scepter from Judah and the leader from his thigh will not be taken away, until he who will be sent arrives, and he will be the expectation of Gentiles. (Genesis 49:10) (Source: The Sacred Bible (Catholic Bible):
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Genesis 49:10) (Source: King James Bible (Protestant Bible)

When Shiloh—the Messiah—came, the scepter of rule over Israel departed from Judah and rested in the hand of the King of Kings, where it remains today, although many still reject Him. He is the Lawgiver at whose feet we now sit for teaching in truth and righteousness through His Word, the Bible. The “obedience of the peoples” was and still is offered to Him, replacing obedience to the law of Moses. From the beginning, there were great gatherings of people who heard Him preach and saw His miracles. Multitudes witnessed His death and His post-resurrection appearances. Multitudes more were converted to Christ, embraced His doctrines, professed His religion, and have lived in Him ever since. Here is the meaning of the “obedience of the peoples to him” (v. 10), which will continue until Shiloh comes again to rule and reign over all during the millennium.
WOULD YOU PUT SOME LIGHT ON IT ?
1 “At that time, Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time, your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
4 But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”
10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days. (Daniel
